It was a great experience to collaborate on such a large-scale production with Tonic DNA and Nebula. As a director myself, working under another director was especially rewarding—understanding his vision, learning from it, and contributing my own experience along the way.
Nebula handled all the animation, and one of the highlights for me was working closely with co-director Fabien Fulchiron, particularly on shading and lighting, helping shape the overall look and feel of the film.
We also put together some fairly unconventional—but effective—pipelines for asset and scene management. Despite being a bit janky, they allowed for much smoother and more streamlined collaboration across teams, making it possible to share massive amounts of data efficiently over the web.
