Sometimes we don’t feel good—and it shows on our bodies. That idea sparked this series of visuals for Rapid Fit&Well Gym. Three “sad bellies” express how we feel on the inside, while the copy points to exercise as a way to boost serotonin, the feel-good hormone.
Visually, we aimed for a sweet spot between a face and a belly— something uncanny. The result is a realistic yet stylized take on the body, allowing it to read as more than one thing at once.
By varying body shapes and subtly shifting “eyes” and “mouths,” we created different expressions, each reflecting a distinct emotional state.
Every production is a journey of exploration, refinement and skill until we achieve the desired result.
Take a peek at some of the magic behind the final product. Below you can see how the concept evolved, how the body models looked from different angles and how the lighting changed the mood.
