The Force

Maxmat

Once again collaborating with Nuno Markl, this Maxmat campaign turns the simple question of knowing the difference between a T5 or T8 bulb into a full-blown cinematic adventure.

The film begins in the real world, shot inside a Maxmat store using carefully design sets that subtly set the star wars tone while keeping the brand’s identity. In a second, Nuno is warped into a fully CGI, Star Wars–inspired universe, where Max and Mat, the brand’s iconic characters, become his guides to the “Force.”

In this alternate world, light bulbs transform into lightsabers, prices are literally cut in half, and Nuno appears as a fast-paced, cinematic 3D avatar. Every CG sequence was carefully animated, lit, and staged to feel atmospheric, energetic, and playful—balancing epic sci-fi visuals with humor and clarity.

The journey ends where it began, back in the real store, closing the loop between fantasy and everyday problem-solving—Maxmat style.
